My Short Story

             The man with the black suit attacked Steve. Just as the blade was about to touch him, Steve found himself lying on the bed sweating. He sighed "What was that?" Steve was an 8th grader bully. He was a gangster who smoked, rode skateboards, and had tattoos. Yesterday was Halloween and he had stolen candy from small kids and swore at them. He thought the nightmare was the consequence for stealing and swearing. He got ready for school and left the house. It was wet outside. When he was walking on the sidewalk, a car suddenly zoomed by and splashed over a puddle. The mudwater splashed on Steve and he was wet head to toe. "Darn it!" Steve shouted, infuriated. He was late for school and he couldn't go back home. So, he just went to school and into the classroom. The teacher, freaked out, said "Get the heck outta here and dry yourself!" Everyone laughed. One hour later, he came back into the classroom. Some girls gossiped "He stinks like fart." and they giggled. Steve heard this and stood up and exclaimed " SHUT UP! YOU SMALL, STUPID, ..." everyone suddenly laughed hard holding their stomach. Steve's classmates were pointing down his leg. His pants were pulled down by someone. Steve felt like dying. Later, when he went home, he realized this was because of bullying and mean stuff. So that night, he slept and woke up early in the morning. He started acting nice and behaving. At school, everyone greeted him well and the people were surprised. Top bully not bullying? He learned that bullying was mean and he shouldn't do that. Although that was all coincidences.  

Argumentative Essay

Performance enhancing drugs are bad for athletes. First, your skills are not your own skills. Second, it effects your health and it makes you addicted. Now, I'll tell you proof and evidence why drugs are bad for athletes.

If you take performance enhancing drugs, your skill is not your own skill. For example, Lance Armstrong. He's a really good cyclist. However, he used drugs. That's very unacceptable because that's not your own skills. You're using a tool to achieve a goal. It's basically looking at a friend's paper during a test. This shows clearly why drugs are not good.

Also, it affects your health badly. People, just think about it. How did the two famous singers Elvis Presley and Michael Jackson die? They both took a lot of drugs. In addition, it's really addictive. Elvis Presley also got addicted to drugs. First, if a person takes drugs, it becomes very attractive to that person. This person keeps on taking it, and that person becomes a person that cannot live without drugs. Eventually, that person could perish. These are the two points of this case why drugs are not good.

In conclusion, I stated that drugs are very bad for you in many ways for athletes, and I gave you two arguments to tell you why. They were first, it's not your own skills, and second, it affects your health and it makes you addicted.

Response Essay about the movie 'Brave'

         I hated the movie Brave. I'll tell you the reasons why. First, the story is too simple. Second, the movie has a lack of seriousness. Finally, the ending was totally messed up. The summary is about a character named Merida who tries to change her fate. However, she face a problem wich her mom turs into a bear. Let me tell you my reactions.

     I'm not saying it has to be complicated, but the story is way too simple. The order of the story is the mom becomes a bear and turns back into a human. The director should put more details to make the movie more fun.

   Also, the emotions were too weak. When Queen Elinor turned into a bear, Merida didn't cry very much. If I was Merida, my room would have been filled with tears.

    In addition, she cried when it was sunrise, but the sun didn't rise completely. Of course her mother wouldn't turn back into a human during sunrise. The witches' words were by sunrise. I think that part was weird.

   After I watched the movie and thought about what to write in the essay, I figured the problems were not to serious. Merida's mom turned into a bear and the solution to turn her back was so simple. All she needed to was to mend the bond. The instructions are so easy! (When I thought about the movie to write the essay, I thought like this.). Why does she have to go to Queen Elinor (Mom)'s room with her mom? Merida could have went herself. That was the part I did not quite get and the movie didn't give a clear reason why Merida did that.

 The marriage was cancelled, but the movie didn't tell us why. That was stupid. After Queen Elinor turns back into a bear, the next scene is the three clans leaving. Why?    There was supposed to be a marriage! So, this means the movie's ending was weak.

In conclusion, the movie Brave was simplistic. It was not a serious movie and finally I didn't like the ending. These are the reasons why I hate the movie.

Dear iPad,

     You are such a good cyber friend. You are really amazing, attractive, and annoying. The annoying thing is that you sometimes lag. Next time, Please don't disappoint me.

There good things too. You are very attractive. I always think about you. From now on, I hope I can spend more time with you.
Another good thing is that you are amazing. You can download games and many more. You are very smart for a small object. I still want to know more about you though.
For my conclusion, I really want to thank you for everything. Entertainment, companion, and etc. I hope we can keep our friendship strong! Also, I will never forget you. You are the best cyber friend I've ever met. Bye.

My Goals

   Hello, my name is Jaywon Choi. I'll tell you my three goals for 30 days. The goals are, Goal 1: Get as many green cards as possible. Goal 2: Be industrious. Goal 3: Try to enjoy   GLPS. The steps for Goal 1 are: clean my room properly, behave well in class, and work on my presentations hard.
